Chris Ford, the deputy director for strategic communications and campaigns of Bread for the World, on Saturday evening confirmed Yohoâs resignation to CNN. The Florida congressman resigned on Friday during a meeting with the organization board, according to a statement from Bread for the World.
âWe believe that Rep. Ted Yohoâs recent actions and words as reported in the media are not reflective of the ethical standards expected of members of our Board of Directors,â the organization wrote in a statement.

AOC and her fellow team are necessary, without them pushing their ideology the MSM and the rest of the Democrats would be calling everyone else describing what they see from the far left as pushing imaginary conspiracy theories.

If NYC continues to decline, it will be interesting to learn about the evolution of the opinion of city residents regarding the lost 25k Amazon jobs that AOC managed. Got a feeling this wonât be seen there as a wise decision in 2030 or so.

In her Congressional district, for sure (NY14). Thatâs why she primaried the Dem incumbent: the Dem primary is the election.
Agree she could have it for life, but my guess is sheâll move on to the US Senate (or elsewhere in government) as she ages. Takes 1/3 the energy to campaign for a Senate seat.
Why not president? FDR, JFK, LBJ, AOC- has a nice ring to it.

I have her down as a Dennis Skinner. Wins an incredibly safe seat (or whatever term you chaps use) and holds it for life. The Party would prefer she hadnât won, but has to deal with it. I doubt sheâll go any further, but will have a good career.

POTUS is, I think, out of reach until she denounces her membership in the Democratic Socialists of America.
And thatâs something she needs to do quickly if she has prez aspirations. The Bern quietly âstoppedâ being a socialist years ago, to no avail. Has now been kneecapped hard twice, both times by the DNC and thus before the GOP could even weigh in. The longer she stays in the DSA the longer she stays on the wrong side of US history.
Anyway, I do think she could likely make the House a career, and because itâs NY14 she could probably enjoy lots of out-of-district financing and the nice lifestyle that would bring her. New York might also make room for her to represent them in the Senate, just as they did for Hillary!.
