That would work, really any of the chains from there would be good, also in Baltics/Finland.
I just want good and affordable Salami and Prosciutto. The knockoff stuff from discount Italy Spain just doesnât hit the mark.
Lidl or aldi, so they canât enter the market in the future.
Name it 塎ä¸ĺ¤ (Cha Bu Duo). Because thatâs the mindset itâll represent.
Mega Seven
Its gonna have Lux somewhere in the name isnt it.
Jeezus as if 2025 were not bad enough!
Hereâs an anecdote from this morning, before I saw this thread. I zipped over to my local Carrefour to pick up a few things on a Sunday morning and spotted some marmalade from Japan. That looks nice, I thought, and brought it to the cashier to pay. It would not compute, they could not figure out how to sell it, how to take my money for a product I wanted that was stocked on their shelf. Some kind of manager type appeared: burly guy, speaking Taiwanese, large gold chains around his neck, looked like a gangster type, never seen anyone like that working in my local Carrefour before. So this is what the Uni-President take over looks like, I thought. Bloody hell Iâve lost my local Carrefour.

Since the Taiwan take-over of Carrefour it has truly been shitte. Very sad indeed.
This is what happens when government allows a conglomerate to control food supply.
Losing options.
Uni-president should rename the stores to Chow Keep Château, as a pun on tshiau-kip tshč-tiÝnn.
Lidl or Aldi canât enter the market soon enough!

Mia Châbu duo
7-11 plus, or Dream Market
They could rename Carrefour stores Mia Câbon⌠then rename the current Mia Câbon stores Mia Câbon Express.

I bring back some of the items myself from Italy and some were bought locally
Iâll take a Conad too!
Uni President can rename it Il Grande Conad!

Spain is the less pretentious Italy. Prosciutto is the prostitution of jamĂłn ibĂŠrico. Salami is fine, chorizo is better. See you in the World Cup, or maybe not ![]()
Weâre going to miss Carrefour.
chorizo is better
Thatâs like saying the Shanzhai iPhone is better.
How did this thread become a Spain-versus-Italia competition?
The real topic is evil empire from Tainan buying out / forcing out the French. ![]()
