The coolest cop EVER!
HE RODE A BLAZING SADDLE, HE WORE A SHINING STAR: Ron Stallworth, recently retired from police work, admitted in an interview that a
major accomplishment during his 30 years as a cop was not only being a
card-carrying member of the racist Ku Klux Klan, but he was even asked,
as a “good, loyal Klansman,” to lead the local Klan chapter in Colorado
Springs, Colo. The Klan didn’t know he was a policeman. It also didn’t
know he was black. “It was one of the most fun” investigations he was
involved with, Stallworth said. He did all of his contact with the Klan
over the phone. When he couldn’t avoid a meeting, a white officer went
in his place. His investigation started in 1979, and he said he is
amazed no one in the Klan ever caught on. (Deseret Morning News)
…Nah! When dealing with such mentalities it’s not surprising he could
keep hidden under the sheets for so long.
I wana have coffee with this guy!! I bet he has a GREAT sense of humour.

This brings to mind the WORST Dave Chappelle episode.

my computer would not bring up the deseret news or the comendy central clip.

i am wondering what he was able to accomplish while in the kkk?

i am sure he must have gained a lot of insight into white supremacists.

he probably stayed on because they are so extremist and this gave him insight to the workings of this sad fringe of society.

it must have been frightening at times, and utterly ridiculous at others.

i can’t even imagine.

curious.

THis one is bad, in fact when I first saw it it made me literally sick to my stomach. I don’t find it funny that use of the word ‘nigger’ and while he seems to be ‘mocking’ the KKK, actually he’s mocking blacks at our expense.

i found it funny. how did you feel it was mocking blacks? didn’t get that.

What’s funny about a blind black man who is turned into someone who hates his race, and uses a word that was meant to disempower someone on an emotional level. I don’t find using ‘nigger’ funny. Not even if it’s used by someone black.

All he’s doing is reinforcing racism, but in a satrical manner.

i thought it was so silly as to be humorous. I can certainly understand not finding it funny, or not liking the language. i don’t see how it was mocking anyone besides white kkk types however.

I didn’t think it was that funny, either. Too drawn out. The joke was over as soon as you found out he was blind.

American humour blows.
