The English evolution of 錢都 hot pot

Over the past years I’ve noticed the English name change. It started as a literal translation “Cash City”, then a romanized version (not standard pinyin) “Chien Tu”, and now today I noticed “Cabbage City” on the window.

Just thought it was interesting. I wonder what’s next?

Ah, so 高麗菜 gaolicai is actually Chinese for “gesundheit.” It all makes sense now.
