...the fastest international shipping post office?

So OK does anybody know where is the last stop before EMS mail is sent to the US?

So, I got late on a deadline and need to ship something really the fastest possible, I’m on Nantou county so for me to get the package take one extra day so I was thinking if I go drop the package to Taipei personally in the morning, what post office would be ideal to avoid any further delays?

If I ship from down here Saturday morning, it gets to Taipei Sunday morn, and placed on a plane in the afternoon, so I was wondering if dropping the package on an office in Taipei would help the package take the plane the same day?
I’m talking about EMS express shipping,or is FEDEX faster?

Why not do DHL at a 7-11? The clerks will call as soon as you’ve dropped something off, and the pick-up is normally within a few hours. I’ve done a few express 2-day shippings this way with no problems…usually documents though, not a package. It might be worth a shot checking it out though instead of coming all the way up to Taipei.

Thanks, I’ll look it up.

Something I found interesting is that yesterday when I sent a letter from another city, they told us that because our home address they would send it to our local office for processing, I wonder that if I had done the thing of going to Taipei to ship they would send it back to my local office because that would blow.

EMS flies out = Taoyuan. But Taiwan post is fast, so unless you live in remote areas or an island, its going to be at the airport the next day more than likely. Driving to a big city anywhere on the west side should be fast.

EMS 4-12 days, fedex/dhl a couple days to usa

Thanks, yes EMS is been good to me, almost everything get to US in 4 days, once I sent a package to Brazil, it got there in 3 days but the recipient couldn’t get it until 3 weeks later, now is blacklisted to me. I check DHL and it costs about 3 times more than EMS for really fast and I need to go and drop in another city.

But yeah the package in question was shipped last Saturday from here in Central TW and made it to Texas the next Wednesday but if is California it gets the a day early. They were not very happy about it but I got cleared lol.
So Now I will focus on shipping with time, and use the standard service since some of my guys won’t refund expedite shipping prices.

also be aware that EMS usually arrives in any US port within 3 days, often next day. It is US customs/postal service that takes longer after that. Actually all that is evident on the tracking system with Taiwan post, it clears customs and they fill out the form so you know what time they say they cleared it.

DHL - 7-11
Fedex - Post office

dhl/fedex faster sure, but EMS has not yet failed me. even when shipping to remote areas they will still get it worked out at no extra fee.

private shipping companies in Taiwan are also quite reliable and fast if you have larger stuff to send. quite accommodating and relatively cheap for lots of services.
