And Hunter had to make a living selling crappy paintings- strange that, for a high-powered drug addict and pornographer, he didn’t blow it on luxuries. Though there was that pick-up that he had to get Joe to spring for. I guess with the Biden inflation, corruption doesn’t go as far as it did in the Trump years.
As always follow the money if you want to know if crimes have been committed. House Republicans should send investigators to interview those wealthy foreigners who paid millions to the Bidens to find out what they were told by the Bidens and what they expected to get in return for all their millions. They would be offered immunity for their truthful testimony.

I think we should stop engaging the yanks on these threads. They are too emotionally tied to this, and can’t take the reasonable and objective perspective that an outsider can. Obviously, who is the president of the USA affects us all. A stake, we have. But we don’t have any sense of identity tied up in that dumpster fire. Must be tough for them. Sad.

I think it’s more of a reading comprehension problem.
Republicans have no evidence that the Bidens were influence peddling because that wasn’t what the Bidens were doing. They’re barking up the wrong tree. Hence, no grounds for impeachment. What the Bidens were doing was running a scam on rich foreigners by purporting to sell influence without ever doing any more than taking their marks’ money and delivering nothing in return.
If Republicans started taking testimony from the rich foreigners regarding what the Bidens promised them in return for all those millions then you might have grounds for impeachment but that’s not happening so far.

Um, the last president was impeached twice, found liable for sexual abuse and defamation, found guilty of civil fraud, found guilty of numerous felonies, and was held accountable for his presidency by the American people who kicked him out of office in 2020.
He might get away with his January 6 motivational speech, the confidential shitter reading material, and the mafia-style phone call to Georgia. But is still being held to account.
