The Filthy Biden Family Thread

Hey, thanks for the attention and shout out, but you’re giving me too much credit - just providing some facts for people rather than the misinformation that was shared.

Oh no, you’ve turned me on to fact checking each and every thread on CHATGPT: of course, it doesn’t take the political ramifications into consideration.

The legal requirements for a presidential pardon in the United States are relatively broad, as the president’s pardon power is outlined in Article II, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution. The president’s authority to grant pardons applies to federal offenses, not state crimes, and has few limitations. Here are the key legal principles:

1. Federal Crimes Only:

  • The president can only pardon individuals for federal crimes, not state crimes. State governors have the power to pardon for state offenses.

2. Conviction Not Required:

  • A person does not have to be convicted of a crime to receive a pardon. Pardons can be granted before, during, or after criminal proceedings.

3. Application Process:

  • While individuals can apply for a pardon through the Department of Justice’s Office of the Pardon Attorney, the president is not bound by this process and can issue a pardon at their discretion, even without a formal application.

4. No Pardon for Impeachment:

  • The president cannot issue pardons for individuals impeached by Congress, per the Constitution.

5. Broad Discretion:

  • The president has broad discretion to issue pardons. They do not need to provide a reason, and pardons can be for any federal offense, including civil offenses (e.g., contempt of court).

6. Timing:

  • Pardons can be granted at any time after the commission of the offense, and there is no statute of limitations. Presidents have granted pardons even during their last hours in office.

7. Effect:

  • A pardon generally absolves the individual of the legal consequences of the crime and restores certain rights (e.g., voting, firearm ownership), though it does not expunge the record of conviction unless a separate court order is obtained.

8. Self-Pardon:

  • The question of whether a president can pardon themselves remains unresolved and has never been tested in court.

In short, the president has almost unlimited authority to grant pardons for federal crimes, with very few constitutional constraints.

yay, posting just got more funner. :wall:

Hey, thanks for confirming what I said. I appreciate the attention, once again.

“more funner”?

Where’s @the_bear ?

He done deaded

The Big Guy won’t pardon H before he’s sentenced because H, as a first time offender, may get no jail time for his crimes. Why hand MAGA a ticking time bomb that would go off the day Trump gets jail time for falsifying business records when you don’t have to?

H forced the issue by ensuring he’ll be sentenced while The Big Guy still has the power to pardon him.

Fall on deaf ears season is here again.

Failing to answer the question again. Either the House Republicans have got nothing and they’re afraid of electoral backlash, or senile old failing Filthy Joe Biden has run rings around the best and the brightest Republicans have to offer.

The answer is House Republicans were looking for evidence of influence peddling but there was none. That’s because the Bidens were running a scam on rich foreigners who thought they were buying influence but were actually being scammed instead. No one really cares if the Biden were cheating corrupt foreigners out of millions though and even if they did those rich foreigners would have to come forward and testify that they tried to bribe the Bidens for a case to proceed. That will never happen though.

Guns, lies and audiotape: How Biden’s family ties could lead to another pardon - POLITICO

No way. A dirty guy connected to dirty Jim Biden’s dirty health care fraud?

No. Way. :astonished:

But Keaton Langston’s case is not over yet, and an audio recording reviewed by POLITICO indicates there is more to the story.
On the recording, Keaton Langston vents about his plea negotiations and the pressures of feeling caught between his father, the Justice Department, and the president’s brother.
He says he “covered” for his father, but only after receiving some sort of assurance from a person he described as “the senator in Alabama.”
He also says he was not truthful with federal investigators about Jim Biden and describes his father’s view of his situation as: “We have a guarantee that Keaton gets a pardon.”

Is that right? Someone should let Kash know.

America First Legal on X: “/1:rotating_light: BREAKING :rotating_light: AFL has obtained new photos of Joe Biden meeting with Hunter Biden’s Chinese business associates and introducing Hunter to China’s President Xi Jinping. https://t.co/SB13yaXiXv” / X

Yawn

I mean, is anybody surprised? I’m certainly not. It’s just one of the ways the Biden family has chosen to pay for beachfront property and a simulcrum of patrician wealth.

These new photographs appear to show:

  • Then-Vice President Joe Biden introducing Hunter to President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China;
  • Then-Vice President Joe Biden introducing Hunter to then-Vice President Li Yuanchao of the People’s Republic of China; and
  • Then-Vice President Joe Biden meeting with and taking pictures with Hunter’s business associates from BHR Partners, including Jonathan Li and Ming Xue.

Following the Presidential Records Act, NARA had planned to release these photographs on October 23, 2024 — thirteen days before Election Day.

But Biden and Obama’s lawyers and representatives invoked an extension of 30 working days, so they have not been released until now.

Michael Goodwin: All of Team Joe aided in the Big Lie – now the world knows the truth of the Biden crime family

Yet the release of the pictures does more than just prove the president a liar.

The decision by the storied National Archives to withhold the evidence until after the election despite a lawsuit from America First Legal opens the door to a larger scandal.

It means the president corrupted others in the administration to cover up his lie.

Think of it as a whole-of-government deception designed to help Biden win a second term.

Did Attorney General Merrick Garland know what the National Archives was hiding?

Did Vice President Kamala Harris?

How could they not know?

Gossip alone would have carried the scandalous information from one administration to another, not to mention the need to document everything a vice president says and does on an official visit with a foreign head of state.

The Secret Service would know the role of everyone in his traveling party and who they met with.

And is there anybody who doubts that the CIA, the FBI and others in the deep state knew Biden was lying with his ridiculous denials?

That’s blackmail-level knowledge, certainly enough to keep him in line.

J. Edgar Hoover terrified presidents and top members of Congress with far less dirt.

The gist is that many people in the Obama White House knew Biden was introducing his son, an on-and-off drug addict, to the communist nation’s top leaders and their bankers.

Sorry, what’s the lie exactly?

Biden’s most ridiculous lie was that he never even discussed Hunter’s foreign business with him.
