The Future of Motorcycles? Automatic Transmissions

Yeah, VTEC has issues at the track. My V6 Accord engages at 3500 rpm while my roommate’s RSX has a higher VTEC engagement point, 6000 rpm. While on the track, I will stay in VTEC for most of a run (except for sharp turns) whereas he will fall in and out of the VTEC range and he says it pisses him off. But the engagement point could be lowered with a chip, piggyback computer, or controller.

Good point - CVTs work pretty well if it is the design I am thinking of. I hope they used that one.
