Never ever seen it running. The packages are quite expensive. And if you have circled around Taiwan by train before, I don’t really think they can upgrade the onboard experience to such a degree that the steep price is justified. If the 5-five star hotels are the reason for the high price, then why not just take regular trains? Gives you more flexibility too.
