Yes if they are on topic. But sometimes there are some that are just funny on their own. We have the funny videos, so makes sense if it has video to go there. But what about tweets with funny memes? Or thoughts? Etc.
How about a “Funny meme of the day” thread?
I just think we one thread should be the focused on the content rather than a platform.
“Funniest videos” is an example of that. It started as “Funniest YouTube videos” but Facebook and Twitter videos started showing up as well, so it made more sense to change is name than to create a new similar thread. 
Yeah, not sure where to put it. It’s heartwarming, but not really a news story, and definitely not a meme.
Maybe a Jia You! Thread should be started. Definitely inspiring.
