The Hammer in Yonghe

They’ve been open for a week or so. Around the corner from Frankie’s Pies in an alley. I know the owner so I can’t give an unbiased review. They have mexican and pasta and omelets. I had a Mexican omelet last night that was really good and it cost 155NT. It came with fried potatoes. He has San Miquel on tap and a lot of bottle beer. Some Anchor Ale. Pretty close to the Dingxi MRT station exit number 2.
Address: No. 14-Lane 9, Wanhua Rd., Yonghe, New Taipei City

So far I’ve had quesadillas three times, Mex breakfast, and Mex omelet. (Not on the same day.) My daughter had some pasta dish that she liked. Lots of beer. No complaints.

Always looking for a new place to try and it’s close-ish to my work.

Just have to use this

I learned who Django Reinhardt is here the other night. Next time I will definitely try the food.

I often drop in on Friday or Saturday nights for a cheeky pint of San Miguel or two. Food is good. The place is less than 100 meters from Dingxi Station, just leave Exit 2 and immediately u-turn left into the alley then, after 20 meters or so, turn right. Can’t miss it. Small bar downstairs and tables upstairs.

My kinda place.
