A few of us from Taibei ventured down to TaiZhong and found The Londoner.
Great place. Drink prices were reasonable and they had a Bingo night going, winner gets 5 Stella’s! Easy going atmosphere and friendly service.
All you down in TaiZhong should surely give it a go! On our next visit, we’ll surely go there! 
They (the londoner) have changed management recently. It has gone through some tranformation and still gets the crowds.

O.k well been in the Taichung area for nearly a year, yet to find the ‘happening’ sports pub in town!
Londoner is awesome on ‘special’ nites, like world cup finals but for smaller games, like only five people there, dunno why, its really a nice pub, good food, strong drinks, big screens, loads of space,
so theres also fubar, havn’t been coz heard they dont show cricket an rugby (i’m a fan), been to Labodega, smallish, foods pricey but nice outside area,
where else then???
especially on sat and sun afternoons?? where do people hang out? I guess I’m just used to home, where on those days people love hanging out at open aired pubs drinkin a few cold ales an watching the game, I do miss that…
