She just announced she’s quitting congress. Call me what you want but I feel bad for her now. Trump says it is great news. What a douchebag he is.

She chose January 5 as the date because that is a couple of days after she hits her 5 year Congressional service anniversary. If she resigns any sooner, she won’t be eligible for her generous government pension, one benefit of which is essentially free healthcare for life. Also, she managed to somehow increase her net worth from $700,000 to $22 million during those five years. She’s had enough of the game and is cashing in her chips.

She should get her pension why wouldn’t she. And whatever money she has made or not it has nothing to do with her work in forcing the release of the Epstein files. That’s just like a strawman argument. Oh but she made money and wants her pension.

Yes, it is hard to believe. OT, but Owens is insane and never misses an opportunity to showcase her antisemitism. I doubt a word of that is true.
Congressmen are under FERS, which is pretty good, but not anything totally crazy. She’s going to get the equivalent of like $9k/yr once she turns 62.

This doesn’t seem to be based on any verifiable facts. She has a good chunk of net worth from part ownership of a family construction business, and her financial disclosures (which are lacking) does not suggest her net worth was that low when she started Congress.
