yes, he was a pioneer of many management ideas, but considering GEâs stock all-time high was almost $60 in 2000, and itâs now $11 (given the Dow Jones index hit all-time high just recently), the firm over-extended itself into way too many areas. At one time, I believe GE Finance may have been its biggest business.
