The Not So Crowded Presidential 2024 Election Thread

Yes narrowly. Slightly wider margin across six states instead of three but still relatively narrow as most presidential elections are these days.

I love a Dem civil war! :cowboy_hat_face: They still remember this no doubt
Joey Mannarino on X: ““I know Barack got tested for AIDS. There’s no shame.” Joe Biden knew about Michelle Obama being a man and Barack playing catcher WAY BACK in 2007. If they really try to push Biden out, expect that shoe to drop hard. https://t.co/rmgUSekp5q” / X

Hilarious. Wonder if President Biden even knows he has yet another knife stuck in his back.

Breaking news. Biden is NOT seeking reelection. He’s just released a statement.

Chaos convention! I smell…1968 and it smells like Yippie sharts. A coup before our very eyes   :cowboy_hat_face: :canada:

So dishonest to disenfranchise 14 million primary voters.

Reeks like old Tammany Hall. Chaos vs complete unity and Republican discipline.

The excitement will likely do them some good at this point.

Well dang. I had hoped he’d dangle for another 3-4 days.

That should release his delegates. If the DNC decides to wash its dirty laundry at its upcoming convention, here in the age of smart phones, it could get real interesting in Chicago.

Does that make us Joever Witnesses?

It’ll be interesting to see how they pick a replacement

The coup talk is a bit silly, everyone who voted in the primary will have a chance to vote in November. If they’re not happy with the choice, Trump might benefit from that again. The best thing for the dems to do is pick the person who will get the most votes in November. If they fail to do that, they lose. Probably going to lose anyways.

Unless, of course, Biden is in tip top shape and expected to be so for another 4 years. Only then is coup a half serious word to use here.

I feel a bit bad for him. But he never should’ve run for a second term. Trump would be beatable if a young Democratic rising star like popular Kentucky governor Andy Beshear had been able to set up a campaign a year ago. Trump is not a strong candidate and is only up in the polls right now because Biden seemed like he was actually senile. If the dynamics change and now Trump is the old, slightly senile one… well… Dems might have a chance.

cough

Um… but probably not with Harris.

What a disaster…two separate statements? Time to change his diapers.

Show at least a modicum of grace.

Well, he posted both on X. This one is more of a Kamala endorsement

Not with Biden. He supported a crime bill that decimated the African American family and his VP happily enforced it as a Sf prosecutor.

huh? He won the presidency once before and he has a solid base of supporters. He was nominated by his party with full support. He now has Elon funding his campaign. How is he not a strong candidate?

Side note…Just announced: Biden just endorsed Harris for president.
