He was only “strong” because Biden was so terrible. But even Biden beat him in 2020 (hopefully you don’t believe that silly “stop the steal” crap). Did you watch his rambling RNC acceptance speech? Against a popular Democratic candidate like Andy Beshear or Josh Shapiro he’d get destroyed in a debate. Trump has only beaten HRC, and that was just in the electoral count, not the popular vote. So no, he’s not strong. He’s terribly flawed, prone to airing personal grievances instead of discussing how his policies will actually improve the country. He may still win because Harris is also not a strong candidate. But at least Dems have a shot now.
