So they’re expecting people to trust Kamala who’s been saying Biden is completely normal mentally for 4 years now. She’s either just as mentally compromised or been lying to you all.
That seems to be what Biden (and her supporters) expect. I have to wonder if they’ll choose her, which is one reason the convention should be interesting (among many others). That’s their nominating mechanism, how will they use it?
I wonder what Dean Phillips standing is now among Democrats. Other than the only one with cajones, that is.

Yup. To be fair, I think many lied to themselves, too, about Biden. That makes me sympathetic, but it also makes me want them a million miles from having the power to make a decision for the American people.
Only the Democrats, party of the enlightened, the educated, the superior humans, could act out The Emperor’s New Clothes and not realize it.

Evidently it was the whole point, yes. They knew, they had to know, but tried to shield it from voters.
But they knew him best and had to know this could happen at any time (the debate fiasco that is).

Sure, hence the 12-day break prior with the last 7 of those days hunkered down at Camp David to focus only on preparation. So they had to know how risky the debate was.
What am I missing?
If I’m allowed to continue in my current biological situation, and if I get a chance to vote, and if Trump is on the ballot, I’m probably gonna vote for Trump.
But I don’t have a serious problem with Harris. We have more than one party going on; that’s how the game is played.
I wish the President well, and in the words of the Irish poet, I hope he will “get some heavy rest.”
My opinion is that the polling showed they were in serious trouble, and had to take the risk. They could have dodged the debate easily enough otherwise. Maybe rushing it was a good play, leaving them this out if Biden melted.
Biden had Zuckerbucks 400 million spent to help democrats get elected. It was illegal but never mind it was why Biden won. Smart play though.
