When I arrived almost 30 years ago, very frequently young pretty girls flirted and approached me.

I dunno, when I started teaching at universities here 20+ years ago, it didn’t seem that unusual for students to have crushes on me. That does NOT happen anymore. I suppose there could be societal changes, but I’ve always thought my advancing age was far more significant!
