Well I for one am siding with Wen. When I was in school, if a student forgot to bring any necessary stationery to class, they just had to sit there and be quiet until the end of the lesson. Just what sort of state leader goes to a summit without bringing a pen? I suppose no treaties will be signed now since Koizumi can’t be bothered to bring his pencil box.
The only possible excuse is that Wen was trying to blot out the image of Koizumi’s tie and fell into a trance.
Also, Joan Crawford is said to be hopping mad that Koizumi stole her hairstyle.
