The Siraya Space Launcher Thread

Is it this one?

And this one?

Nice, but it’s clearly just a proof-of-concept - it looks only marginally larger than the sort of thing that amateurs launch. I reckon they’re a long way off competing with SpaceX.

Gotta start somewhere!

Yeah, can’t fault them for giving it a go. Every country should have a beer, an airline, and a space programme.

The 2 video are related to Taiwan’s suborbital rockets. Not to be confused with the real orbital launchers.

The later one should be the solid propellant Kirin SLV with a payload capacity of 200 kilograms into a 500-kilometer SSO orbit.

Note that Kirin SLV is said to be similar to the Indian SLV-3 SLV that was later incorporated into India’s Agni, the first Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM). Read: Dual-use civilian-military

Unknown whether Siraya SLV is the renamed Kirin. As it is sometimes compared to the South Korean Nuri SLV, Siraya might be instead a liquid propellant launcher.
