The Trump Presidency 2.0

Think that was nuclear weapons. There have been small nuclear reactors in space. Satellites have had nuclear power sources, and the Apollo 13 LEM (that came back to Earth because they had to use it as a lifeboat when the service module blew up), had a small IIRC plutonium-fuelled one, which is said to have crashed intact into the Pacific when the LEM burned up in the atmosphere. Despite all the media interest in that mission, there wasnt a great deal of discussion about that.

Speaking of nukes.

Relax, Putin, it was a “joke”.

Just an image? No linked article?

This seems to be the source, so its a Jewish organisation questioning the inconsistency and suggesting, by implication, that its essentially MAGA anti-liberal madness, legally dubious, and not in the best interests of Jewish students.

Not to be pro-semitic, of course, but that seems to be rather to their credit

I’m sure it’s just a convenient coincidence.

Pam Bondi’s Obama grand jury probe is a brazen stunt — and a political win for Trump

Trumps Test Drive To Destruction of the US Constitution turns up another Big Black Hole.

If he didn’t actually exist, it might have been quite useful to simulate him, and quite a lot less scary.

Anything to distract from Epstein.

How long is it going to take for people to hop off Trump’s (tiny) dick, and call him for what he is? An aspiring dictator.

Absolutely. The fact that someone like Trump could even run shows how broken the U.S. system is. There should be a central committee to vet all presidential candidates before they’re allowed on the ballot.

Spain is part of BRICS! Trump wants to put 100% tariffs on them for not buying US jets.
Somebody tell him…

Senile Trump shows his lack of intelligence again :man_facepalming:

The problem isn’t that a half-wit clown like Trump is allowed to run for president. The problem is that politics in the U.S. has become so dysfunctional that only the senile, half-wits, and airheads want to run for president. Intelligent, competent people want nothing to do with the presidency in this age of partisan, scorched earth politics.

The solution is to treat the presidency like jury duty. If someone nominates you to be president and you win the election you’re required by law to serve as president for four years whether you like it or not.

Congress, the elephant party, the media:

They lied on his cognitive evaluation.

They lied in his health evaluation.

They pretended to ignore his real past: bankruptcies, legal issues, morally reprehensible comments and beliefs.

Etc

Absolutely demented. He is now a senior advisor in the DOJ.

Where’s your bar, Trumpies?

Everybody excited for their tax money to go to daddy’s new $200 million dollar ballroom?

Seriously where are the spines?

Now he’s just making stuff up.

"The problem isn’t that a half-wit clown like Trump is allowed to run for president."

Correct. The actual problem is threefold

  1. The half-wit clowns in the electorate like halfwit-clowns like Trump to run for president, and will vote for them. This is “Democracy in action” and really tricky to talk your way around.
  2. half-wit clowns like Trump arent actually at all funny as president.
  3. It turns out that your consitution is a lot more vulnerable to un-funny half-wit clowns like Trump as president then anybody (apart from well-publicised right wing pressure groups, of course) realised .

From the last three elections, it’s not so much that people (the big mass in the middle who are the actual decision makers) vote for a President, it’s more like people vote against who they don’t want… So pest and cholera choice…

2016… People didn’t want another Clinton
2020… No more Trump
2024… No way Kamala

So election campaigns are about smear of the opposition, and yes, it has always been a bit like this, but these last three elections have been extreme
