Things to look out for in your lease

Are there any clauses that I should definitely add to a one year apartment lease? I heard some people mention “free lease termination” if there is lots of construction noise in the vicinity, but that seems hard to do in my case.

Anything in particular to look out for? (The contract is going to be in Chinese btw)

There are the standard lease booklet you can buy at stationary stores. So the terms are pretty much public knowledge. They will add or subtract to it as necessary.

But lease termination isn’t hard if you don’t mind losing your deposit.
