I was in a small town in south-western China in 1986, where hemp seeds were used in cooking- lots of it. I had some Aussie friends who kept looking for the leaf and buds, and the inhabitants would explain that the they used the stalks and fibers to make rope and cloth, but the rest they threw away.
My friends scrounged up some, and were rolling some joints. The locals were astonished that these foreigners were so poverty-stricken that they had to smoke leaves, and took pity and kept trying to press cigarettes on them.

That lady who committed suicide had some kind of disease which resulted in bruises on her neck and body. You can’t strangle somebody who is locked into a pod that doesn’t even make any sense.
