This is really sad to see. There is probably tons of deaths due to this flooding.
I wish could get a better source than Taiwan News. I hate searching for news on Taiwan and that tripe comes up.

Read a commenter elsewhere who reminded that the real danger was less from the Three Gorges Dam than from the many crappy dams hastily constructed during the Great Leap Forward and shoddily maintained ever since.
Lovely. This has happened before in the 1970s. Was a state secret until 2005.
