Thur, Apr 23 at Witch House: Geronimo Label (JP)

:musical_notes: Despair Boogle — Geronimo Label 2026 Taiwan Tour :musical_notes:

Geronimo Label is a rock duo from Kansai, Japan. Guitarist Hidejovic Uesugi confronts the darkness of reality with his vocals, while Himeno weaves ever-shifting rhythms. Together they create sincere, intense “despair rock,” transforming gloom into the drive and hope to keep moving forward.

Geronimo Label has performed across Mexico, Spain, Korea, and Indonesia. Hidejovic Uesugi has also traveled to Hong Kong and Palestine. These cross-border experiences, and the connections formed along the way, continue to shape their music — a sound both uniquely personal and globally resonant.

:camera_with_flash: Mini Photo Exhibition — “What I Saw: Palestine Before the Separation Wall” :palestinian_territories:
At both shows, Hidejovic Uesugi will exhibit photographs taken during his visit to the West Bank in autumn 2000.

Scenes include:

• A Palestinian village under constant threat from military and settlers.
• A young Israeli woman striving to protect Palestinian villagers.
• Children excited by the arrival of an Asian stranger (the photographer).

These fragments depict the West Bank before the construction of the separation wall.

For decades, Palestine has endured brutal occupation and systemic violence. This exhibition invites you to confront the land before it was divided by concrete barriers.
