I used to be the one watching them from the crowd, and now I actually have the chance to stand on the same stage. Even now, it still feels incredibly cool.
Maybe the greatest reward of playing in a band has never been fame, but that at this age, I can still do what I love with friends; and that there are people willing to buy tickets, come inside, sing together, sweat together, and throw off the burdens of daily life — that alone makes it all worthwhile.
