Yes, it went from winter to summer overnight on my side of the Straights Pond (Xiamen). From 10 to 30. Rather drastic.
And with the heat come the naked, fleshy bellies. You know, lazy-ass men sitting around drinking tea, gambling, napping, smoking, spitting, gossiping (do men gossip? prolly do). And nearly all of them will have their ‘wife beaters’ rolled half way up their front side, sharing with the world their trimmed and toned bellies.
Ah, just one of the pleasures of a constant 30 degree plus summer in China.
