Toddlers get porn, not Disney

US toddlers tuning in for a Disney cartoon in the state of New Jersey this week got more than they bargained for, when the local cable company mistakenly started broadcasting hardcore pornography.

According to the New York Daily News, Handy Manny, a cartoon on Playhouse Disney about a Latino handyman and his talking tools, broke off on Monday morning when Comcast mistakenly started airing an X-rated movie.

One subscriber, Paul Dunleavy, told the newspaper he realised something was awry was when his five-year-old son asked him: “What are they doing?”

“It was two people doing their thing, it was full-on and it was disgusting,” Mr Dunleavy said.

“I couldn’t believe it. We try to do the right thing to protect our kids from this stuff, and then they broadcast it on children’s TV,” Mr Dunleavy said.

A Comcast spokesman told the newspaper the programming error was the cable company’s fault, and that Playhouse Disney, which is pitched at children aged three to six, was not to blame.

“We immediately detected the issue and it was corrected promptly,” he said, adding that the incident was under investigation.

Mr Dunleavy, however, was not satisfied.

“I try to protect my kids from a lot of things, but I wouldn’t have thought Disney would become one of them.”

This never happened to me when I was young.

What did he expect? It was called Playhouse Disney for crissakes. :unamused:

Already it sounds pornographic to me…

But you say that about everything … even this, probably.

I am absolutely disgusted [lawsuit] and cannot believe [new car] that an organisation we trust [Winnebago] to provide suitable content for our children [trip to Europe] would be so negligent [kitchen renovations] as to broadcast this sort of material [that new French restaurant in town] and my poor child [who was next door at the time] has undergone such a trauma [finally get that boob job for the wife] that he hasn’t spoken for days [lawyer says $50k].

Disgraceful!

Not horribly pornographic, though.

Wow. And up to now I thought the fake Audi 100s they were offering in the late 80s were the height of China’s copycat-ism.

Very soon the Chinese will say that they invented disneyland some 3000 years ago …

Only to find that no one was tall enough to be allowed on the rides.

I bet the “Pirates of the Carob Bean” ride features the guys who came up with this park.

The oldest chip on the shoulder in the universe can be found in China. Did you know they invented chips on the shoulder fifty billion years ago during the Blong dynasty?
