My dentist tells me it’s 20k for a porcelain crown for one of my teeth. (One at the back.)
My wife paid 13k at her dentist.

I think you have to know the dentist to get the cheaper price. Why not go to your wife’s dentist?
20k is fairly standard. 16k is cheapest I’ve seen quoted, but not porcelain.

I paid zero , i was shocked the guy said you dont need one .
My brain was programmed to think alot of money is required after a root canal.
I think what material you choose can decide the price, what material price are you asking for? A scale or a specific material?
Yeah quite right. You can just have a filling after the root canal. Just don’t go eating any nuts on that side of the mouth.
Last time I was in Taiwan I had a long cracked tooth that finally irritated the nerve. Root canal plus titanium cap was $5000, but the dentist was a friend of a friend.

The root canal and porcelain crown cost me around 15k at a very nicely appointed clinic (fancy interior design, 2 storey place in a prime location) with no insurance. It was a molar.
