Not bad video, I arrived a few years after so looked quite similar. Brought back a few memories.
Drivers were even worse back then, also parking all over the pavements was rife in Taipei (from the video). Streets and traffic was busier without the MRT.

I had a flashback to that in Kaohsiung this weekend riding an electric scooter. Kept thinking I was breaking the law.
