🌸 Tourism | Taiwan Cherry time, Hotels sold out in minute

Not really three years, that would be the beginning of the covid and would include level 2-3-whatever. Tourism took a bit to pick up speed.

Also I can see how some people would like to escape from the city and remove the masks. I do it, and I suspect the people I see without mask would have that as an extra motivation too.

a total of 2,552 rooms over the 22-day period

they meant the total number of rooms available during that period I guess

Precisely how long or so has it been then?

I don’t think internal tourism was great at the beginning of this year, for example. But TBH I’m curious, I’d like to see the actual numbers. I think there’s been waves too.

‘The coming sakura season at the farm will last 22 days from Feb. 7-28’

And nature was consulted about the dates?

I’m also curious. My guess is 42

Er what? xD

I agree

Ah, OK. Then nothing to discuss.

Not exactly the best data ever for the discussion but…

But this focuses on older people and 2020

Actually I totally forgot how at least during some time the fact that people couldn’t really go abroad boosted domestic tourism. But then I remember seeing and enjoying empty roads and places for the first time for some extended period of time.
