Transfer money from Taiwan (no bank account)

Is there anyway I can transfer money from Taiwan to another country (UK) without a bank account (I don’t have one) without using Western Union or something like that?

Does the Bank of Taiwan do this for a flat rate?

Most banks will do a TT for you and yes the flat rate is normally around NT$400 or less.

Some banks may want you to have an account but most do not.

You don’t need a bank account in Taiwan to transfer money and I’ve had to give them cash to do the transfer anyway. You obviously will need a bank account in the UK though. It costs a 400NT flat rate and there is a charge by your bank also (maybe 0.5% when I did it).

I’m having to do a transfer soon, but haven’t opened a bank account yet.If I just showed up at Bank of Taiwan to do a transfer, what should I bring to the bank? My passport and ID or no need for any of that, just cash and US bank info?

Passport/ARC, cash and US bank info.

Iv used Moneygram to send money.
