Hello good day everyone, just want to ask if there are vans/services to and from Sun Moon Lake, Nantou for the Tour de France Taiwan 2025 in October? I am a foreigner doing fellowship training in Linkou and I was wondering if there are any direct transfers since I think that the trains would be too much of a hassle and would be tiring also hehe. Head to your nearest bike shop or look towards local cycling groups to ask around and see if anyone has an open seat in their support cars. It’s a big event, so if the bike shop doesn’t have a group going, they’ll know people that could help.
In terms of shop, I’m not familiar with Linkou. For more international brands that are more geared towards locals, you can look into Cycling Fabro, Pas Normal Studios or Rapha. The brands have different kinds of (riding) styles and people. Worth doing a bit of exploring and see what’s your vibe as you may be spending time with the groups if you plan on traveling with them!
