Translation of single status certificate

Hi everyone,

I have two questions:

  1. I recently got my original single status certificate authenticated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in my home country. However, the person who spoke to me there said that i will also need to translate my certificate by a certified translator in Taiwan. Can anyone give me advice or knowledge on how to get my certificate translated by a certified translator in Taiwan?

  2. Since i am only getting married in Taiwan (with a Taiwanese woman) and not applying for a residency permit (going back to home country with wife), will i only need to bring 1.my passport, 2. my original single certificate authenticated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in my home country, and 3. a translated copy of that authenticated certificate in order to get married in Taiwan? Do i need any other documents?

Thanks in advance.
