Travel to Kaohsiung from Taipei after an international flight

Hello, I am now in Kaohsiung. We filled out paper work and booked a taxi before we left. We were able to book a van so we were able to put our 6 luggage (and more) into the taxi. The ride was around 4.5 hours and we had 15 min break half way there.
Note: when we booked the taxi, we had to type in how many people and luggage and the max amount of luggage was 6.

I also had to travel from TPE to quarantine in Kaohsiung, so some tips for those who need to do the same:

When you exit customs, the signs tell you to go right to get a chartered car for central and southern Taiwan, and to go left to get a taxi for northern Taiwan. Ignore those signs. The taxis are also authorized to take you to Kaohsiung (or elsewhere in southern Taiwan) at the same rates as the chartered cars.

We showed up as a party of two with a large amount of luggage (7 check-in; 2 carry-on). The people in bunny suits at the booth for the chartered cars were being difficult - they said we would need to get two cars at $2660 each because they refused to allow luggage in the front passenger seat. We were about to wait two hours for the next bus when the much more pleasant taxi stand people told us that we could take a taxi to Kaohsiung and that we could fit into one Toyota Wish car (with one piece of luggage next to the driver’s seat), so off we went. The taxi we took was registered in Taipei City.
