So, who is travelling/vacationing this summer? Where are you going?
I doubt we’ll hit Singapore because we are looking for a beach gettaway. Bali sounds great (aside from hawkers) but, with the travel warnings it feels like I am risking my life!
Also, is Thailand UNBEARABLY hot in Aug? We love Ko Samui.

Cottage country, Ontario, Canada. Barbecues, waterskiing, canoes, fishing for pike off the dock, fresh blueberries. Can’t wait! 
I spent a great 10 days in August at the Aloha Resort on Lamai Beach in Koh Samui a few years back. The weather was great. Hot, sunny days, and warm nights. The water was soooo warm. And at night the phosphorescence was amazing. Swimming through the water left a visible trail of light behind. Magical.
