Traveling on a visitor visa

Can somebody help me out?

I have a visitor visa, single entry, extendable valid for 60 days - due to expire April 22. I want to travel to Bali Indonesia for a weekend, but I want to be sure that I can get back to Taiwan.

Is there anyway I can turn my visa into a multiple entry visa or get a new visa while I’m here?

I’m currently a student at Shida’s Mandarin Training Center, and have all the documents to prove it.

Would appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thanks very much.

As far as I know, it is impossible. Why bother with the cost and hassle of going to Bali when there are so many great places to explore in Taiwan? There are also some really nice island holiday destinations on Taiwan’s backdoor that don’t require any visa hassles; Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Green Island, and Orchid Island are perfect for weekend trips.
