Tropical hard wood - glaze or wax or what?

Hi, does anybody know how best to treat tropical hard wood? We’ve got this garden set of a table and some chairs that looks rather dull and we’d like to get it back into shape again. I heard it’s best to use a kind of wax on this type of wood (not really sure which wood it is exactly, it’s not mahagony, but looks similar and is very heavy and hard, once tried to put a screw into it and broke off several before I succeeeded …), but am wondering whether it’s also possible to use this outdoor, translucent, weather-proving glaze stuff? All advice greatly appreciated, thanks a lot! Xpet. :help:

According to this link teak oil is probably what you should be looking for.
