No they didn’t. The 1980s saw a big wave of deindustrialization with factories shutting down all over the country due to foreign competition. When Ross Perot made the giant sucking sound in 1992, that’s what he was talking about. That was before Clinton. That happened under Bush I and Reagan. Clinton continued with NAFTA, which was in discussions under Bush I.

Something seems so off about this Trump “assassination attempt”. No way in hell would he not be immediately escorted away until the area was secured/shooter neutralized.
Politics has become so much like WWE thanks to Trump especially, and many people, including a special group of Americans, don’t even see it

Holy crap. At least the Big Macs seemed to get him off his feet at the right time, or didn’t get in the way anyway. Based on the direction he was looking when he grabbed his ear, it looks like the shots came from Trump’s left and above him, or from his right and below him. Or both.
The audio of the gunfire not really convincing me. Also, is it really protocol for him not to be immediately whisked away by secret service until the target was neutralized and area secured? The aftermath was so theatrical.
Not sure if there will be reports of a shooter. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was just a guy with a pellet gun
