TV show episodes banned by streaming platforms

Maybe examples for this phenomenon has been mentioned elsewhere, but I thought it’d be interesting if there’s one place discussing how some TV show episodes that were allowed to air, some didn’t even cause any backlash after being aired, are cancelled by streaming platforms.

I was fairly frustrated by Advanced Dungeons & Dragons from Community being cancelled for supposed “blackface”, however, recently I ran into one such example that completely baffled me. That being Bluey’s Dad Baby.

I noticed the streaming platform claiming copyright issues for not showing the episode while watching the show with my kid. After googling, I learned it was canceled for being too “explicit”.

Then I found that the episode was offered for free on Bluey’s youtube channel.

The episode basically was about Bingo crawling into a baby carrier (apparently also called a papoose) to pretend she is an fetus that her dad is about to give birth to.

Uh… what’s so explicit about it?

Trans messaging?

Some dude wearing a baby carrier is trans messaging? It’s his kids idea to pretend dad is giving birth. Bandit expressed he doesn’t enjoy the process through out. The episode is more like those simulated pregnancy things that some men pay to experience to have an better understanding of what labor feels like, or putting on a fake pregnant belly for a day to feel the strain of carrying a baby. Or is that the too explicit part.

Maybe getting smacked with the magazine?
