I want to go to Taipei from Kaohsiung in the next couple of days. I hear that the typhoon is going to make flights and trains unpredictable (in that they might close down etc.) - so what are the chances that I won’t be able to go?
What you hear is correct. The best way to know is to call the airlines beforehand and ask if they are flying. But I’d say wait till after Friday at least to fly. At least you’ll know by Friday if the typhoon has hit or not.
