Typhoons 2020

That cat’s surely gonna roll to the north. Not buying it.

Hopefully.

It’s going to turn slightly northward, squeeze between Taiwan and Japan and ram straight into Shanghai, bringing us plenty of rain with non of the damage in the process.

Naaah. It’s going to run pretty much north-north-west and miss Taiwan and even Okinawa altogether, crunching into Kagoshima on Friday.

As long as we can have the fly-by…

You almost have it right. But it’s going to curve even more and miss Kagoshima all together.

Kudos to @nuit who nailed it super early.

An effect of no typhoons: no water in certain areas

Maybe we can finally get some serious rain?

Are you really saying that amidst the October we’ve had?

Not serious rain. Light drizzle at most. We want the sort of rain that gives you bruises. :grinning:

We need 翡翠, 石門, 永和山, 寶山, 寶山第二, 明德, 鯉魚潭, 德基, and 曾文 to be at least 90% full. Some of them are in dire situations

Not yet a Typhoon, and the eye may not actually cross the coast, but Severe Tropical Storm ATSANI is likely to make things rather wet down south from tomorrow.

It will pass very near.

Sounds kinky.
