I am not nearly as down on Askren as you guys seem to be. Jorge had a plan and it worked. But just because Ben got KO’d by an unexpected flying knee that landed absolutely perfectly doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the skills to hang with the top guys.
He probably shouldn’t get another top 5 guy in his next fight, but I’d like to see a fight with Till, Thompson, or Maia next.
