The UK has had enough of Islamic protesters and is now deporting them. I wonder if the US will grow a backbone and get started soon.
This is about like 2 people right? Seems a bit overstated. The US still has freedom of speech enshrined in its constitution, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Without even watching the video, i can say that next to zero people are having their citizenship cancelled.
1 or 2 might have had their visas denied. Probably for some other reason.
LMFAO@the two people comment. More like about 4. It’s smart election posturing though. Revoking student visas is way simpler than revoking citizenship. I guess a bit easier after Brexit.
Generally foreign students are not allowed to get involved in politics in most countries including Taiwan.
The US isn’t wasting its time going after some low level protestors. It’s got its sights set on the real enemies of Israel, the judges of the International Criminal Court and their family members:
The House passed legislation on Tuesday that would sanction the international criminal court after its chief prosecutor requested arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials.
The 247-155 vote amounts to Congress’s first legislative rebuke of the war-crimes court since prosecutor Karim Khan’s decision last month to seek arrest warrants for the leaders of Israel and Hamas. The move was widely denounced in Washington, creating a rare moment of unity on Israel even as partisan divisions over the war with Hamas intensified. . . .
The House bill would apply sweeping economic sanctions and visa restrictions to individuals and judges associated with the ICC, including their family members
Meanwhile, the British seem hellbent on heading towards Orwellianism. One of the most stringent anti-free speech codes in the democratic West is a bit concerning, isn’t it? I posted a link a while back on this - 30 arrests a day, 12,000 a year, for what people say online? I hope the Brits come to their senses.
A picture speaks 500 words.

Been there and done that, (different type of protest a good few years ago).
They arrest you, put you in the van, take you to a police station for processing, then release you without charge.
They only bothered to fingerprint and charge the ones who are really kicking off, cousing damage, or if they find anything in their possession.
Sorry, has inflation reached the idiom community has well?
