Ukraine Invaded by the Russians - April to August 2022

My beef is that that it is stupid to make it like Russia invaded Ukraine because the U.S. MIC decided so. it did so during I and II WW, but that’s another story. Actually this is the official Russian propaganda, the evil US and A zombified the Ukrainians to f.ck up with the brother Russia so it was forced to invade… Whatever the geopolitics is, it is all very complicated and definitely I am not going to fit my vision of it in one post. I just want to make it clear that it is a good idea to readjust your moral compasses: one country is invading another country, destroying cities, killing people, raping women. The former country is bad by default just because of it, no matter what are the justifications.

No one is saying Russia invaded Ukraine because of U.S. MIC.
But, once the invasion happened, the U.S. MIC spooged all over themselves and had a great orgy party thinking of all the good shit they can sell Ukraine so that Ukrainians can die for the West/US. If you don’t agree on that point, then oh well.

Yes. Watch the MIC arm Taiwan with defensive weapons to encourage China to attack. Logic!

Showing China how a smaller well armed and support force can stop, slow down or defeat a superior in number army is good for global peace.

The western countries are arming Ukraine in an attempt to prevent WW3. Let’s see if it works.

It is quiet possible that Russia and China did not anticipate that the west would go all in over Ukraine. That is true. But they also failed to respect how much support the West would and could provide to Ukraine.

Anyway. This thread is a true example of why you should not support one issue with all your abilities. You should attempt to stay impartial. Yes it best to take information from all sides to see where the truth lies (sic).

Well, if American MIC produces good high tech weapons shit, if it can help the the country Ukraine to survive against the aggressor Russia, if it goes by the Lend Lease scheme as it happened during the WWII when the recipient was the Soviet Union, when the Lend Lease is initiated and maintained directly by the government of the US. Realistically this is the chance for Ukraine to survive in this war.

What’s happening is countries like Poland and Romania and Portugal are giving their old rusty crap military howitzers, APCs, tanks, etc. to Ukrainee.
Then they order nice new stuff from U.S. MIC.
Of course, what’s also happening or will happen is U.S. MIC equipment that is somewhat good will get sold on the black market. Who makes that profit? Look at all the U.S. MIC shit left over in Afghanistan? Oh the list goes on. MIC shareholders are happy, they aren’t crying over spilled milk in Ukie.

So, either the alphabets either are completely stupid and idiotic (which there is a high likelihood of that) or the war is going badly for Ukies and the former are back-pedaling away from any acknowledgment, or both.

But despite the flow of all this news to the public, American intelligence agencies have less information than they would like about Ukraine’s operations and possess a far better picture of Russia’s military, its planned operations and its successes and failures, according to current and former officials.

Governments often withhold information from the public for operational security. But these information gaps within the U.S. government could make it more difficult for the Biden administration to decide how to target military aid as it sends billions of dollars in weapons to Ukraine.

And here the Europeans are being scolded by Z-man left and right for not doing what he tells them to do, yet his winning army is not sharing info with those same “allies”. Nice relationship here.

Well, business is business… Even rusty shit is good for now… USA highly profited from two global European-initiated wars WWI and WWII just by supplying weapons. The modern nation of Israel also managed to survive in XX century against its Arab neighbors due to US help and weapons, now it is making highly sophisticated ones of its own, but still depends largely on the US. I guess Israelis are doing better now than Syrians or Egyptians… Anyway, all this does not exclude the fact that the nation of Ukraine is struggling for its survival. It does not exclude the fact that Ukraine and the US are in Lend Lease agreement now and more sophisticated equipment is in process to be supplied in mass.

We all lived through this time, but sometimes it is insightful to look back at the history of events in retrospective, think and ruminate about time, and how it changes everything… 2013/2014 somehow happened to be the breaking point in the history of the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. Before 2014, Ukraine and Russia were just two splinter parts of the former Soviet Union, bickering about oil and gas prices, but generally living peacefully, basically the same culture, the same mentality, old good post-Soviet world, relatives across the border. Russians went to Ukrainian Crimea for summer vacations, young punks went to Crimean Kazantip for rave parties, older generation watched Ukrainian soap opera comedies like “Svaty (Cваты)” on Russian TV, enjoyed their vacations in Crimean resorts such Yalta, Alushta, Evpatoria, etc. From the events of spring 2014, these two nations became enemies, from 24 February this year – fierce enemies. Look at the story of Putin, he came into power in 2000. Zeroes were the best time in the history for both Russia and Ukraine, economy was growing, people were getting richer. Putin started to build his system, at that time he had practical goals like overtake Portugal in terms of GDP, was highly popular with the Russian people as he managed to pacify the rebellious Chechnya, economy was growing, people started to live better. Ukraine fucked around with democracy, in 2004 orange revolution. In 2008 happened the economic crisis and Russia started to plunge. Putin, according to the constitution had to leave office. In 2008-2012 was his puppet Medvedev in charge as a president, Putin as a prime minister in control. Medvedev looked quite progressive, took pictures with Steve Jobs and the newest iPhone and posted pictures on the social media. But in August 2008 happened this little invasion to Georgia coinciding with Beijing Olympics. From 2012 things started to change to more radically, Putin became the President again. He was at the bottom level of the people’s support at that time, people started to sense that something was going wrong… Bolotnaya Square Moscow protests in 2012. At the end of November, in Ukraine started the Maidan. 2014, yep, Putin plays in Ukraine, annexes Crimea, creates DNR and LNR in Donbas. By appeasing to the Imperial former glory past, he hits the nerve of the Russian population of the lost Empire, which is kind of getting fed up with the government system based purely on corruption and mafia style lyalty. From that time, consolidation of authoritarian power, elimination of all the institutions that can control him. 24 February. Underestimation of Ukraine capability to resist, we all saw the destruction of tank columns. Just to return to the first sentence, out of friendly country with the same culture, he created a fierce enemy, became an enemy with the most developed part of the world, ruined millions of lives, just in one decade. Well done Putin! Someone thinks these were pesky Muricans who directed this flow of events?

The viciousness of Putin’s moves in Chechnya were a marker of how he would later act, now, in Ukraine.

Other than that, great post.

Somehow, the first Chechen war happened during Yeltsin time, mid of 90-s. At that time I was a teen and watched the Russian TV, and really hated the Chechens. The funny thing, the 90-s were the most honest time in the Russian media. They really showed every day on the TV in 1994-1996, how the Chechens destroyed another Russian VDV company, etc. Now they literally say that there are no casualties at all in Ukraine and nothing to talk about! There was a complete freedom in the media, they showed political satire like “kukly (куклы)” taking a piss out of Yeltsin, early Putin, Lukashenko, oligarchs like Berezovsky. This was a crazy time, dangerous time like Chicago of Al Capone, gang wars on the streets and markets, politicians and businessmen got killed everyday, but this was a time of freedom… Anyway, I kind reevaluate the personalities like Dzhokhar Dudaev and the cause of independence of the Chechens. It is actually a long history with the entire XIX century Imperial campaign of pacification of the Caucasus, all this is described in the classical Russian literature by Tolstoy, Lermontov, etc… Then there was this deportation by Stalin of Chechens, Ingushs, Crimean Tatars, etc. to Kazakhstan. Now there is Ramzan Kadyrov in charge in Chechnya, basically a typical archaic leader in symbiosis with Putin, I guess most Chechens hate him like hell… He is the son of Ahmad Kadyrov, who… Whatever, too long story…

Just to add another note about Chechnya. Chechen (Nokhchi) society has a very strict tribal organization of tukhums divided into teips (clans). Kadyrov belongs to Benoi teip for example. The Chechens have very strict code of blood revenge, and Kadyrov has lots lots lots of blood on his hands… If Putin (Moscow) abandons him, for example if he dies, ousted from power, etc., it’s gonna be a bloodbath for Kadyrov’s family and Benoi clan. From Yamadaev’s teip for example, the rival powerful family he eliminated. Just one explanation why Kadyrov is so loyal to Putin, who supports him with money, and why he has his private army of Kadyrov guards. Kadyrovites - Wikipedia

Interestingly, the critical youtuber laowhy has come across a very similar narrative as he digs into the pro-China AND pro-Russia influence machine which reached out to him with an offer. This whole video is worth watching, but regarding Russia per se have a look around the ten minute mark. It may speak something of value to you.

How it all started in Chechnya, and how it all ended. On the first photo is Dzhohar Dudaev, who started the separatist movement in Chechnya, the first president of Ichkeria, leading the war against Russia. He was the Soviet Air Force general, served the Empire in Afghanistan in 1980s, he wrote poetry. Killed by a rocket in 1996. On the second photo is some Instagram bitch, nickname is Ramzan or Ramzanka, I guess his father Akhmad Kadyrov was more respectable man… Sending his guards funded by Putin to pose as Instagram bitches in Ukraine ))) I guess Chechens “love” him  Still alive.

National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (yes these two unis have merged into one) steps up to help. It joins private universities such as Tzu Chi and Tunghai which have already made similar commitments.

This is the photo when Pu makes Ramzanka the king of Chechnya in 2004… The smart dad of ramzanka, Akhmad just got blown up on a stadium in Grozny, Pu gives Akhmad’s son the mandate to rule Chechnya, tells him, just report to me. Now Ramzan is really a pain in the ass in the rectum of dwindling Pu… Happened to be very cheeky kid

They didn’t photoshop the swazi:

Putin is tired. Putin is sick. There is a version that these guys with spade beards are hunting for the throne in Kremlin. This is another source of jokes and “predictions” for the future of Russia… But Ramzan president of Russia, your all western world with US and A will be total Pizdets :))) Anything is possible in this world…

Or, Putin and his Russians are tools and that’s why they invaded?

Do any Europeans agree with what people are saying in this thread?
