Yes, I think so. But still not enough votes to be the leader, maybe in next few years. The current PM seems friendly to China. (Though he might be replace very soon)
I looked at data on crime, in this prefecture the Turkish population is 15x more likely to commit a crime. Other’s were on par or lower like Korea.

Japanese are so used to low crime that consecutive years of increases even still far below global numbers must feel more significant to them.
I wonder how much is this fear based on past experiences of foreigners. My understanding is that Yakuza has a surprising amount of non japanese. Koreans are often in them as Yakuza draw in social outcasts. I was reading that Yakuza while getting smaller, have been working with foreigners more in new crime ventures like internet fraud.

For some see it like that, I feel where I have family (Kyushu) is very safe, though better off than a lot of Japan. (but in Europe I also feel safe, a but careful in Roma or Miliano though)
This election in Japan, it;s younger voters vote for the new party, a trend I see in Europe too.

TBH, I think a lot of why developed countries run into problems is because young people don’t vote enough. Elected officials tent to focus on policies for older generations as they come out and vote. But often these policies are short sighted and do not benefit young people.
Like pensions in many places in Europe. In Italy, it’s mathematically impossible to continue the current pension without major overhauls or huge demographic shifts. Italy of course will never address this because it would upset the older people. But there is no math that makes the current pension system deliver back value to young people who pay in if it stays the same.
I was reading Italy will have 1 out of 3 people retired in a few decades and at the current population trend, each person needs to contribute 1500 per month just for the pension system to function.

They will make age to collect older, that is many countries are doing like Japan as people live longer (Italy/Japan)

WOW!.That is area outside Tokyo City but still a lot people there. After looking more careful at your link, Turks there make a lot of crime (Korean do half as much Crime as Japanese). That numbers are crazy
Japan did get new trade agreement with the USA, hope Taiwan gets good deal too.
