I was on internship in Taiwan. Everything was going good there . At last when it was coming too end we decided too have a party. We went to club. I was drunk and was caught for dui.0.26 mg where the limit was 0.25
I was helping my friend to move bathroom. But i know that i have done very big mistake.
They gave me fine but the amount was not disclosed.
I checked it for 2 weeks but nothing was shown on 7/11 machines which shows fine.
I was having my flight back in the next week so came back to my country.
Now when i reached i got to know about my fine which was about. 60000ntd.
So just wanted is there any possible way i can comeback to Taiwan because i love the country and everything. I know i made a mistake but i am ready to rectify it.
I can pay the amount.
Just wanted to know i will be allowed to Taiwan again or not .
If yes please tell me the best possible way.
I have no issues to pay the fine
How long ago did this DUI happen? If it’s not long ago, maybe you can still pay it?

You will be allowed in. Just not out until you pay the fine.
Then just come back and pay the fine.
It sounds like he left before the fine was laid.
Can i pay from my country only as there is the embassy of taiwan here.
You can try. Also I believe you can allow others to pay your fines here too.
Ultimately the best way is to just come here and pay.
If i come there before aren’t they going to deport me?
It depends how much you were over.
The amount you were over .26 instead of under .25 would be just a fine from my understanding.
Put it this way. You would’ve been arrested on the spot if it were enough to deport
I was arrested for that but they never said they are going to deport me . I just want continue my studies in Taiwan as i feel very much connected with the place. But now i am very confused are they going to let me in or not.

Entry/exit bureau have no connection to internal legal proceedings. If you want to come back then come back. We can’t really provide you with a cast iron guarantee you’ll be let in but I’ll give you a 85% guarantee.
Keep in mind that the ticket may vastly increased due to late fees. Things may have changed, but when I was here they kept increasing the fee if you didn’t pay, which meant that if you had not paid in several years the fine could be double, triple, 5x the original amount.
Why do you need to come back to pay the fine? Can’t you do it online?

You checked Ibon at 7-11? No, this is not something you can just pay from abroad. Maybe you should have read the document in Chinese that was posted to you by registered mail as it states the amount of the fine, that your on parole, the story you told the police in the station, and your case number.
I had a DUI in 2016 at 0,25 riding a 50cc scooter & it was my only time. The law statue I broke has a jail time of 3 years but the court documents say I showed remorse.
Result:
parole of 1 year duration
suspension of licence for one year
required to take traffic classes at the DMV
45,000nt fine (50cc engine - more cc = higher fine) - which must be
paid within 4mo of the starting date of your parole.
I wasn’t allowed to just pay the fine right away. I had to go to the DMV
and do all that stuff then go back to the Taipei District Court to prove that
I had completed the DMV steps. Each step was like a quest and they only
really told me what I had to do next at the end of a completed step.
In all, I had to go to the court at least 4-5 times. The DMV at least 3 times. Only after I did the DMV work and got that verified by the court was I allowed to go pay the fine which had to be paid in person at some office in a non-govt building in ShiMenDing. Then I had to go back to the court to show them that I paid the fine.
After I completed the 1 year parole I had to go back to the Taipei District Court to get another document that proves I served my time and case was closed successfully. Then I had to go back to the DMV and have my licence reinstated by showing the final court document.
Basically, you broke the terms of your parole by completing none of the steps.
