Hi, I’m writing a novel called Facing the Mirror. The first four chapters are posted online in a blog. I was just wondering if anyone might be willing to read it and give me some feedback.

Facing the Mirror Synopsis
Those Who Stand on the Outside Looking in Have No Right to Love…

The world population is a little less than seven million, and the number is increasing each day. There are tons of labels generated each day for individuals across the world. These labels are worn, like definitions of character.

What happens…when someone is born, but none of the labels fit?

Jade doesn’t think that God made a mistake, but why does she pray for her body to change each time she looks into the mirror? Follow America’s Pop Princess on a journey to transition into the Duke of Pop. Questions arise in Jade’s mind as she begins the sex change and transitions into Jake. Can he complete the image in the mirror without offending God?

I think your synopsis has a good hook. Iʻd read at least a couple of chapters. Iʻd cut the first paragraph of the synopsis, though. Jump straight to the “What if none of the labels fit?” The first paragraph is really all set-up, and not specific to this story, this character or this situation anyway.
