So that no one’s predictions get lost in other threads, let’s have them here.
Mine won’t be too detailed, but I’ll go first. I think that, barring electoral fraud (or should I say, the success of electoral fraud), Trump will just sneak over the line.
The GOP will probably cuck by not going with real conservative appointments to the Supreme Court, and there will be a widespread, low level campaign of cat ladies and other assorted degenerates in government, the media and academia, all funded or directed by globalist puppet masters to make it difficult for Trump to get anything done. That’s even if he intends to do half of what he has said he will, which is not a given as it could just be his “negotiating” tactic. His presidency will likely be an over-hyped disappointment to all sides, kind of like the current one.
Regardless of who does actually win though, it is going to be a poisoned chalice. The US has deep structural issues that won’t be solved easily, and it will slide just that little bit closer to third world, banana republic status under either contender. The president will also likely have to deal with a global financial crisis in the next four years, along with continued escalations in East Asia, disorder in the Middle East and the ongoing invasion of Europe. Plus, a good third of the US population will hate another third of the population with a passion, with the feelings being reciprocated, with the remaining third trying their best to keep their heads down whilst also dealing with all of the afore-mentioned global economic and geopolitical problems.
Considering that the major media outlets (and the polls for that matter) are basically a swirl of propaganda and outright lies, I really have no idea who’s going to win. Seems like it could go either way at this point. I can only hope that Hillary loses, which would send a clear message to the political and financial elites that people are waking up.
I hear what you’re saying about the media lies, but that’s good in a way. There is now a very, very significant minority of the populace that has completely woken up about what the media actually are, who they serve and who they absolutely hate.
I think there are silver linings to whichever way this thing goes. Again, people have already woken up. This isn’t going away regardless. Likewise, the political and financial elites would double down either way. They’re not waking up regardless.
A line has already been crossed. The genie is out of the bottle. We are entering a whole new era. America won the Cold War when I was a teenager. Now this. It’s unbelievable what I’ve seen just in my lifetime. What a time to be alive!
What I will say is that the Americans sure know how to put on a damn good show. I don’t think that anyone is going to top this election in my lifetime. Someone would have to burn something down to top this one!
Hillary was clearly chosen for the job long ago, she may not win, but she will be the next president either way.
No matter the result, America loses, and so does any other country that has to put up with consequences of US foreign policy.
It’s rather obvious there are some serious issues with the process. Out of all the millions of great Americans, we end up we these two losers to choose from?
It’s looking pretty good for Trump at this point. Interestingly, CNN still has Hillary ahead in electoral votes, while everybody else has Trump ahead. Coincidence? No matter who ends up winning this election, the media is definitely the big loser.
Looks like Trump is set to pick up 304 electoral votes for a decisive victory. The mainstream media and pollsters have lost all credibility (well, what little they had left). Hopefully this will result in a lot of bankruptcies! I can’t wait to see all the talking heads furiously backpedaling and crying in their coffee.
The New York Times prediction of a Hillary victory went from over 80% down to 5% in the span of four hours! It’s fun to watch them covering up their lies in real time.
BRET STEPHENS, COLUMNIST, WALL STREET JOURNAL: Well, if I make a prediction now and it’s mistaken, it will be replayed endlessly against me. But what I’m hoping is going to happen is that Mrs. Clinton is going to win the electoral college and popular vote decisively.
And the reason I hope that and I say this as someone who’s voted Republican all my life is because I think that the wing of the party that Donald Trump represents needs to be rebuked. People have to understand in the words of Talleyrand, it’s worse than a crime, it’s a mistake. This is not the way the Republican party ought to go.
I think if it’s a very close vote, the view will be that Trump was in effect stabbed in the back by people like me, Republicans who simply could not bring themselves in any way to embrace his brand of politics. But I’d also like to see is Republicans hold the house and senate. And so I’m going to vote Republican down ballot and have divided and hopefully productive constructive government.
No, he’s not a traitor. He’s something worse: a misguided partisan loyalist.
It’s arguable as to whether Trump should go after his enemies first or purge the Republican Party of each and every cuck who tried to stab him in the back over the past year and a half. I’d probably go with the latter. The enemy within is always the most dangerous. Fox News should also be destroyed.
