US visa question

I am interested in visiting the US and intend to go there from Taiwan.Currently I don’t have an entry visa, from your experience, can non-Taiwanese apply for a US visa at the AIT or do they have to do that at their home country?

i would say best thing to do is to call them up and ask them

What is your nationality?

I believe the AIT is the right place to go to apply for a US visa if you require one for a visit.

I’m Israeli. My sister got a job in the States and is relocating there soon, I thought of visiting her.

Izzy -
AIT is the place for you to get the paperwork sorted out.
May I suggest contacting the Kao Shiung branch for faster, more professional service.
Shalom & Good Luck!

thanks everybody!

In the old days you could just sleep with someone on the inside and get your visa.

So where you headed izzy?

California (Santa something - I’m afraid I don’t remember which one) My sister and her family are relocating there in a couple of months and I was thinking of visiting them. I guess thats my next family visit, My next travel destination though is China at the end of this month, I’m visiting a couple of friends studying there.
